Roadmap

Start simple, then grow from real use

The first phase is focused on practical foundations before any larger platform becomes a burden.

Phases

A practical rollout

Each phase should be reviewed against capacity, governance, privacy, cost, and real community demand.

  1. Phase 1

    Get the basics working

Managed accounts, organisation-owned email, shared Google Drive structures, calendar support, training, cyber safety, and governance decisions.

  2. Phase 2

    Grow participation

Bring more local groups into the shared calendar, document safer working practices, and build train-the-trainer confidence.

  3. Phase 3

    Support routine use

Offer practical help for handovers, permissions, calendar entries, files, recovery, and new volunteers.

  4. Phase 4

    Add public services carefully

Add directory, event submission, resources, forms, or booking workflows only when governance and privacy routes are clear.

  5. Phase 5

    Repeat and report

Measure outcomes, share learning, and explore whether the model can help other communities.
